Andy Maxfield - Minnesota

Our next featured employee is Andy Maxfield. Andy is from our Skatetime Minnesota office where he is a manager, driver, instructor, skate cleaner, and an overall cobbler, he does it all! He has been with Skatetime School Programs for 20 years. Skatetime is not Andy's only job. On the weekends you will find him serving tables at Applebee's. He is also a member of a "dad band". He plays guitar and sings in his band.

Andy graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Physical Education degree. He now lives in Woodbury, Minnesota with his wife Bren, son Henry, mother-in-law Marie, cats Mason and Eva, and their dog Sam. A fun fact about Andy is that he cannot say "NO" to chocolate chip cookies.

Skating wasn't something new Andy picked up when he started working for the company, but stopping and skating backwards was. He knew how to skate when he was a kid, but learned some new skills when he began working for Skatetime. His favorite part about our company is when he hears teachers tell him about how anxious the students are to begin the skating unit. This tells him that he's doing something valuable for that student and their school.
